"Now there's someone I wouldn't mind being
lost in a fire with" I heard to my right as
half a dozen firemen, complete with fire
truck escorted Uma beneath floral arches,
along the white carpet and into the premiere.
Dressed in a beautifully cut deep black suit
and an Uma-trademark yellow blouse - she
looked stunning. You'd have thought after
Kill Bill, Uma was off weddings, but no, she
was definitely up for this one. And for the
ladies, as if the firemen weren't enough,
co-star Colin Firth - Mr. Darcy himself - was
there to wow the fans. Uma spent lots of time
with adoring ones, signing the entire fan
line and posing for fan-pics. Colin didn't
have any time for signing after his media
duties before the film began.
Also treading the carpet were the "One and
Only" finalists getting their first taste of
a genuine Leicester Square prem.
