| Queen - Live At Wembley - Part 01 (01/14) |
 |
12.07.1986, London (Wembley Stadium),
England.
Probably the most famous Queen concert, they
deliver an overall amazing show, playing
their classic songs and they got a rowdy
crowd on top of it all! The setlist was quite
special (Queen played 'Gimme Some Lovin' or
'Big Spender' only scarcely) and there were
even rumours about David Bowie's appearance
for 'Under Pressure' but that unfortunately
didn't happen.
Brian May said of the concert, "The Wembley
concerts in 1986 were the pinnacle for us. We
were at our height band-wise, and Freddie had
developed this phenomenal way of dealing with
stadium audiences. Being back home in London
playing two sell-out nights was such a big,
big occasion for us. None of us realized that
this would be almost the last time we played
together." The band played only two more UK
concert dates together.

| Freddie Mercury - The Untold Story - Part 01 (01/12) |
 |
This 2 hour special is absolutely excellent!
It was created by the same people that made
the 'Magic Years' series and the 'Champions
of the World' video. There are interviews
with his mom, sister, aunt, cousin, Brian
May, Roger Taylor, Peter Freestone (his
personal assistant), Mary Austin (love of his
life and life long best friend), Jim Hutton
(his last live in lover), a member of his 1st
band The Hectics, several of his close
friends.
Have the tissues ready, as you're almost
guaranteed to shed a tear at the end of it! Tags : Freddie Mercury Queen Untold Story Documentary |

| Queen - Live At The Bowl - Part 01 (01/13) |
 |
05.06.1982, Milton Keynes (Bowl Stadium),
England.
Queen's last European Hot Space Tour venue
('Queen On Fire') just before setting out to
Canada ;-) Actually the tour was planned to
end in Arsenal, London - not Milton Keynes.
The concert began in daylight and the stage
was built in a strange way, but nevertheless
Queen delivered a perfect show !
Especially love this 'Back Chat' version, in
total it was scarcely played on their tour -
not to forget the extra long 'Somebody To
Love' (not a quickie at all :-D).

| Queen - Live In Buenos Aires - Part 01 (01/11) |
 |
01.03.1981, Buenos Aires (Velez Sarsfield
Stadium), Argentina, 'South America Bites The
Dust'
Broadcasted live on TV by Canal 9, average
quality, but great audience! This one
contains 'Somebody To Love' and 'Fat Bottomed
Girls' but lacks 'Mustapha' and 'Rock It'.
Broadcasting of the show did not include 'Get
Down, Make Love' as this song was forbidden
by the de facto government.
Queen also wanted to play on the huge
Maracana stadium in Rio De Janeiro but didn't
get permission.
