gets the green light to take a vacation with
his son. He was in a Long Island courtroom
Thursday asking permission to take the trip
with 11-year-old Marquise. A drug test was
ordered, and it came back clean.The rapper is
involved in a bitter dispute with his
ex-girlfriend - Marquise's mother -over a
fire that destroyed the Long Island mansion
where she and the boy were living.The women
of Wisteria Lane may have only a few more
years to resolve their many
problems."Desperate Housewives" creator and
executive producer tells the AP that he plans
to end the ABC series after seven seasons.The
show begins its fifth season this fall.An
auction of James Brown's possessions fetches
some hefty bids. Musician Paul Shaffer
offered over 32-thousand dollars for Brown's
medical bracelet, and 10-thousand for a
Hammond organ.All together, the auction
brought in nearly 860-thousand dollars.
Brown's estate is mired in turmoil and
contention. Family members tried to block the
