あらすじ
夏のヴァカンスにわく7月のパリ
明日から夏休みというその日、
ャルロット(シャルロット・ゲン
ブール)は水泳の飛び込みに失敗
し、足を切って教室に戻る途中、
音楽室から聞こえるピアノのメロ
ディーに思わずのぞき込んでしま
う。そこでTV中継されていた彼女
同じ13歳の天才ピアニスト、ク
ラ・ボーマン(クロチルド・ボー
ン)の美しさに彼女の胸は奇妙に
高まる。最近何もかもうまくゆか
ず、イラついているシャルロット
。夏休みになり、彼女は設備装飾
業を営む父(ラウール・ビルレー)
使いで、彼女を姉のように慕う
に住む病気がちの少女ルル(ジュ
リー・グレン)とともに工場へ行
が、その途中二人はコンサート
ためにこの地を訪れたクララと
ネージャーのサム(ジャン・クロ
ド・ブリアリ)に道を尋ねられ、
シャルロットの胸は何かが起こり
そうな予感でときめいた。工場に
勤める船乗りの青年ジャン(ジャ
・フィリップ・エコフェ)に好意
抱いたシャルロットは、翌日ク
ラのピアノのイスを届けにいく
に同行し、その別世界の様子に
っかり魅了される。おまけにク
ラから付き人になってほしいと
われシャルロットは有頂天にな
が、亡くなった母代わりのメイ
、レオーヌ(ベルナデット・ラフ
ォン)とルルの反応は冷ややかで
レオーヌは叶わぬ夢を見ている
け、と彼女を諭す。そして明日
ルセイユに発つというジャンに
われ彼の部屋を訪ねたシャルロ
トは、突然ベットに押し倒され
きと恐怖からガラスの地球儀を
にふりおろし、部屋を飛び出す
だった。待ちに待ったクララの
ンサートの日、しかし演奏の最
ルルがシャルロットに彼女と一
に行かないで、と叫び会場を追
出される。それはルルのシャル
ットへの精一杯の愛情表現だっ
が、彼女は激しい怒りをぶちま
る。コンサートは終り、ファン
囲まれたクララは去って行った
彼女からの手紙をシャルロット
差し出すサム。そこへ目に涙を
めながら全速力で駆け寄るルル
鼻血を出して倒れた。その時、
ャルロットの心ではじける何か
あった。彼女は胸一杯に広がる
しさを抱きしめながら、ルルに
かって歩き始める......。

convenience store. This segment was taken
from Episode 610 which aired November 22,
1994 on CBS. This particular version of the
segment was recorded after the Family Channel
starting cutting episodes to make room for
commercials, so it may have small parts
missing.
