This video discusses the advantages of the
Boeing KC-767 Advanced Tanker in the upcoming
decision on the bid to provide the United
States Air Force with new aircraft to replace
its aging fleet of mid-air refueling tankers.
Argues that the airplane offers a variety of
uses to US Armed Forces, from refueling, to
passenger or troop transport, to cargo
transport, to serving the needs of
aeromedical teams. Beneficial to the country,
as it is reliant upon 44,000 jobs in America
and 300 American suppliers to build the
craft, including Pratt & Whitney, Smiths and
Vought. Is the right size aircraft for the
job. Has decades of experience in airborne
refueling, and uses a sixth generation boom
to refuel.
