Second Life! Decided to create this on a lark
after being inspired by what Ben Linden
(http://secondlife.blogs.com/bulkupload/) was
doing.

| WotLK 70 Ret Paladin DPS Comparison (8926) Ability Spam Mana Test |

PTR 3.0.2 (Build 8926)
Current Build as of Sept. 15th 08 ((Now
Outdated, New Build as of Oct.1 - 9014))
Actual Calculated DPS: Peaked: 2,600.
Average: 2,200
--:Paladin DPS nearly TRIPLED (3x) compared
to Live Servers!!:-- (2,200dps vs 750dps)
2250AP, 36% Crit
Abilities used: Judgement, Crusader Strike,
Divine Storm, Seal of Martyr, Consecration,
Hammer of Wrath,
Buffs: Self Buffs, Druid Leader of the Pact.
Music: Suburban Knights - Hard-Fi
I don't have the beta, so I couldn't hang-out
in Northrend, :(. There are plenty of videos
like this, but none actually SAY the
paladin's DPS... So I hope I've helped grant
some insight on that.
-Live Server Paladin DPS-
Identical Ability Spam (as in video)
30secs: 1,200dps peak, went OOM
2mins: 750dps
2:30mins: 700dps
3:30mins: 660dps
Typical patch 2.4 ability rotation
(Judgement, CS) + BoWisdom
2mins: 800dps, Went OOM
3:30mins: 730dps (wisdom helped)
Comparitively on PTR
Maintained 2,200 throughout the entire video,
and was at 100% mana when video ended, so OOM
wasn't anywhere in sight.
Comparatively, the Feral Druid that was with
me Peaked his DPS at 2,500, and averaged
about 2,050. I'm not sure about other
classes, but it seems that this DPS may be
average for most classes?
Mana Usage/Regen is OP in my opinion.
Judgement of the Wise - Restores 20% of Max
Mana, usable every 8 seconds. While VERY
nice, it's virtually impossible for a ret
paladin to go OOM.
-TALENT FIXED IN 9014-
Restores 33% of Base Mana instead! No longer
drastically scales with Int Gear.
