This is the beauty of the Amazona's rain
forest, the one that is still there, full of
life and strength. In this video you can see
the beautiful Cristalino river and forest and
the amazing Salto Augusto waterfalls, inside
of the recently named National Park of
Juruena, still closed to the public.

here about the Amazona's drama. All this was
filmed just few weeks ago. If you feel like

| John and Maite ambassadors of WWF. Amazonas' drama |

starts) John Kelly and Maite Itoiz travelled
to Brazil with a team of WWF to see with
their own eyes the situation of the Amazonas
rain forest and to visit the new National
park of Juruena. For each sold CD of the show
"Tales from the Secret Forest", one euro is
going to the WWF, to manage this national
park. Juruena is safe now. This park stops
the deforestation advance in a big area.
But still, all that mist you see in the video
is the smoke of the fires, very toxic and
extended thousands of kilometers causing
terrible disseases in little babies and old
people. This smoke creates a micro-climate
and it feels very strange, very dry and warm,
where there are no trees. That's why the
rivers are getting dry where there's no
forest. You can see very big extensions of
flat soja fields or just fields for cows,
where before used to be an amazing rain
forest full of life. This is the situation in
Brasil. If you are touched by this video,

stop all this, even if it is a little help.
