Inner Journey with Burt Wolf and Prem Rawat
(aka Maharaji), a spirited conversation about
self-discovery. During the past 40 years,
journalist Burt Wolf has been traveling
around the world, reporting on the customs
and traditions that give meaning to peoples'
lives. During those years, he says, he
discovered that the ones that were most
valuable to him were the ones that gave him a
sense of inner peace and self-knowledge. A
few years ago, he told a friend that he was
interested in taking a break from traveling
around the world and wanted to make a trip to
the inside---to find out more about his
feelings and how they might relate to the
universal themes of life. His friend
suggested that he talks to Prem Rawat
Maharaji who, this friend said, talks about
the possibility of knowing contentment in our
lifetime. Prem Rawat, the friend said, points
out that the forces of modern society may
stimulate our desires and drive us outward in
a search for happiness, but that lasting
happiness can only be found within. Burt
attended two lectures by Prem Rawat and found
his message to be timely, quite significant
and very entertaining. Following that
experience, and over the course of a year, he
proceeded to tape a series of conversations
with Prem Rawat Maharaji. They talked about
his life, Burt's life, what is going on in
the world today, what makes people happy and
what makes us sad and how one can choose to

$10M Ansari X-Prize for SpaceShipOne, the
first privately funded craft to enter space
twice in a 2-week period. He's now
collaborating with Virgin Galactic to build
the first rocket-ship designed for space
