Guys, there are maybe two-three chapters
left, or something like that..
And after that, I'll start posting the sequel
to cibah, I'll put up a trailer or
something..
Chapter 27
"Yes. We all are" Uncle Alex said.
"Oh.. Well, Ive got bad news for you" he
said, looking at his chart, then up at us
apologetic. "Charlotte unfortunately didn't
make it" he said "You can go see her if you
want."
I choked up, and immediately felt Kevin's
hand around me. I looked to see where Gracie
was, and as soon as I saw her in Nick's lap,
I broke down in Kevin's arms.
Four months later, Millie and I were playing
with Gracie in our living room. She had grown
quite a bit, and was really cute.
Surprisingly she had blonde hair and blue
eyes. She probably took it from her father
that, according to Michael, bailed on her and
my mom.
"Eeevan?" Gracie's eyes lit up as my phone
started ringing. She'd grown very attached to
Kevin, but they left for tour three months
ago.
"Hello?" I said as I answered my phone.
"Megan! Hi!" Kevin said cheerfully on the
other end.
"Why in such a good mood?" I asked him as I
laughed.
"It's only two days, TWO DAYS 'till I can see
you again" he said exited, and made me exited
also.
"You're right!! Thats so awesome!!" I said
cheerfully.
"Eeeevaaaaan?" Gracie said again, and I put
him on speaker phone.
"Hi Gracie" Kevin's voice said through the
speaker. She squealed of joy and laughed her
cute laugh.
"Eevaaann" she said again.
"Hey, Gracie?" I heard Joes voice say, and
Millie looked towards the phone with a smile
plastered on her face. "What does the cow
say?" Joe asked, he always thought it was so
cute.
"MmmmmmmmmmOH!" she said and I could hear
Kevin and Joe laughing on the other end,
which also made her laugh. "Oey!!" she
squealed and clapped her hands, making me and
Millie laugh.
"Gracie, say byebye to Kevin and Joey, Megan
wants to talk to Kevin alone" Millie told
her, she could always tell.
"Bubuuuh" Gracie leaned into the phone.
"Bye Gracie" Kevin and Joe said in baby
voices, and then I grabbed the phone and went
into the kitchen.
"She sounds happy" Kevin noted as he heard me
close the door.
"She is. She misses you though, and shes not
the only" one I admitted.
"I miss you too" Kevin said.
"So, why'd you call?" I asked.
"Auch, sounds like you dont want me to" he
joked.
I rolled my eyes "You know I want you to call
me, but why?"
"I was going to ask you out the day after I
come home" he said.
"Friday?" I asked as I remembered something.
"Yes, this Friday"
"Uhm.. My graduation's that day, don't you
remember?"
"Oh! Thats right! What about Saturday then?"
"I'd love to" I smiled into the phone.
"Great! Oh, I have to go, were doing an
interview.. Bye Megs, I love you" he said,
making my smile grow into a grin.
"I love you too" I said, right before I heard
a click, and the phone line went dead.
Two days after I went down the hallways of my
school, this was my last day. Tomorrow was
the rest of the schools last day, and in the
evening the senior class of 2006 would be
graduating. I went up to my locker, and put
the last things in. It was a picture of Kevin
and I, a picture of Millie, one of the Jonas
boys and one of Gracie, plus some clothes and
my old cell phone, the one I thought I'd
lost.
"Hey, Megs!" Millie came bouncing up to me
with Josh right behind her.
"Hey guys! You both finished cleaning out
your lockers?" I asked as Josh had reached
us.
"We sure did.. I cant WAIT to be done with
high school!" Josh said as we started to walk
out of the school. "So the boys are coming
home today, right?" Josh said, putting his
arms around Millie's and mine shoulders.
"They are!!" Millie said exciting. "I cant
wait!!"
We exited the school, and started towards the
parking lot where Michael was going to pick
us up.
As we got there, I couldn't see my brothers
car, but I could see another familiar car,
and six people outside of it, greeting us
with huge grins.

to read chapter 33 first!!
Amanda's POV
So now I'm gonna tell you guys what happened
to make me think that the last bad thing that
happened to me, ended in something good.
As Kevin slowed down infront of the Peterson
residence, I could see him look at me.
"Uhm... You wanna come in for a little
while?" I asked him, and he smiled at me.
"Sure" he said, and instead of stopping at
the sidewalk, he drove up in the driveway. He
stopped the car, and both of us got out of
the car. Since I got mugged, I didn't have a
key, so I had to ring the doorbell, and not
long after the buzzer went off, and I could
hear Carley's voice coming out of it.
"Amanda?" Kevin looked at me with raised
eyebrows, as to ask how Carley could possibly
know that it was me outside. I pointed up to
the corner of the door.
"Camera" I said, and he followed my finger,
and saw it too.
"Ah"
"Amanda, why don't you have your key?"
Carley's voice flooded out of the little
speaker by the door.
"If you let us in, I'll tell you" I didn't
get an answer. But a few seconds later, I
heard footsteps and the door opened.
"Hi" Carley said smiling. Kevin said hi, and
we both followed Carley inside. "So what
happened to your key?" she asked as we
stepped into the kitchen.
"I got mugged, so I called Luke, but he
didn't answer so I called Kevin, and he came
to pick me up" Carley seemed to be processing
a question, so I waited for it to come.
"But, if you got mugged, why didn't the
mugger take your phone also?" she asked
clearly confused.
"I was texting Em.." I said simply. And
Carley nodded, signalizing that she
understood.
"Well, I'm going up to my room, got some
homework to do" she said, and then left. We
stood in silence a while, and then I suddenly
got the urge to make something.
"You wanna make brownies?" I asked as I
turned towards Kevin. He chuckled slightly.
"What?"
"You got this face that lighted up, like you
came up with the most genious idea ever" he
said, smiling at me.
"Well it was" I stuck out my tounge at him.
So we made brownies, and as it was in the
oven, the most amazing thing happened to me.
"So.. Amanda, I've got something to tell you"
Kevin said, sitting next to me after putting
the milk back in the refrigerator.
"What?" I said turning my head towards him.
Our faces was barely two inches apart.
"I... Well, me and Jacqueline.. Well we"
"What, Kevin?" I asked, my eyebrows frowning
in confusion.
"I just wanna do something I've wanted to do
since the day we got locked in at school" he
said, and I was still as confused as can be
as he leaned closer. Automatically, I leaned
in also, and not long after our lips met. And
I got the most amazing feeling floating
through me. This was awesome! After some
seconds he pulled away, both of us were
breathless, and I was just staring at him. In
shock.
"Wow.. I was certainly not expecting that" I
said, a smile appearing on my face.
"What did you think I wanted to do?" he asked
me, one of his eyebrows rising. I smiled at
the cute look on his face.
"I don't know.. It felt good though" but then
I remembered. "But Kevin-"
"Yes?" he asked.
"What about Jackie?" His grin faded a little,
but not entirely.
"Well, we broke up." I looked at him with a
face reflecting the question 'why' "She's
moving" he said with a sigh.
"What?! Why didn't she tell us?!" I asked, a
little insulted, after all, we were friends.
Even though I hadn't liked her that much.
"She is telling you. Probably tomorrow or
something" he said. But then he changed the
topic. "So does this mean that?"
"Yes it does, or we could at least try it for
a while, to see if it works out" I said. He
smiled at me.
"Yeah, we could do that. But promise me that
if it's going well, we'll officially become a
couple?" I smiled at him and leaned in
closer.
"That's a promise I think I can keep" I said,
and kissed him one more time as the timer on
the oven went off. Signalizing that our
brownies were done.
So that was it for now people! I hope you
guys are looking forward to So Far Away!!
