Those last few kibbles might have gotten
between Goliath and a clean escape. But after
weeks of stealing food from a Gresham garage,
the flabby tabby found himself stuck — head
and shoulders outside the doggie door, gut
and tail inside. The homeowner helped
dislodge the sweet, playful 20.2-pound cat,
kindly gave him a good meal, then delivered
him Wednesday to the Oregon Humane Society,
where he awaits his owner or a new adoptive
personal chef.

Go Smear The Posion Ivy" on Fatcat Records.
Overture was born of Jason Malcolm Brown and
Aya Yamasaki Brown in the final days of
August, 2004. A focal point where their
creative intertwined, Aya and Jason created
an opera house where all the peoples of their
worlds could perform and be entertained. As
the opening to an opera, Overture stands to
introduce and describe these worlds through
their work, resting mainly in animation and
improvised illustration.

Completed in October 2006, the video for Max
Richter's track 'Song', which appears on his
album, 'Songs From Before', was shot by film
maker Yulia Mahr in a remote part of the
Pyrenees. Using out-of-date Super-8mm black
and white film stock, and some of the last
Kodachrome 40 stock ever produced, it is a
neat vsual accompaniment to the grain and
atmosphere of Max's music.
