Dancers mass for navel maneuvers
By D. PARVAZ
P-I REPORTER
The belly is an amazingly communicative body
part.
Etched with a six-pack, it embodies strength.
In women, it's an unrelenting icon of
fertility.
It's also the focal point of the belly dance,
that swaying, swishing Middle Eastern import,
which has been part of the Fremont Fair since
the event began 35 years ago.
"We had maybe five people, but it got bigger
and bigger, especially in the last three or
four years," said Billion Belly March
organizer Delilah Flynn. "This year we have
close to 150."

| FREMONT, CA POLICE SELL DRUGS TO THE PUBLIC :( |
 |
Chief Steckler,Fremont police give people
DRUGS, then sell it to them, then try to buy
it back, and then arrest them for possession
and dealing.
I used to drive a taxi in Fremont, CA. One
night some fares offered me a joint as a tip,
I accepted it. Later that night I got another
call to pick up the same fares, I did. We
talked about marijuana and I asked them if I
could buy some from them.
The next day I met one of them in San
Leandro. I drove him to caspers hot dogs
where he went in and came out with two hot
dogs and an ounce of mexican marijuana.
He said that he bought it there, at caspers
and that the hot dogs were on the house.
The next week while driving the cab I had at
least 10 people get in my cab and ask me if I
know where to buy any marijuana, very
abnormal. One fare even showed me a bag of
crank. He said he found it at bart. He asked
me if I wanted to have it, I declined.
A few weeks later while driving my cab I got
stopped by a police van. I was driving 42 mph
in a 35 zone. I was following a police car
that was about 50 yards in front of me.
The police van pulled me over. The officer
screamed at me when I told him that I
disagree.... he told me I was going 50 mph
and screamed, "don't get smart with me,
mister!"
A few minutes later a normal car arrived. The
driver walked straight up to the officer and
asked him what was going on. The driver
looked familiar, but I couldn't place him.
The next day I realized that it was one of
the fares I had picked up who gave me a joint
as a tip.
So, the Fremont police give people marijuana,
then sell it to them, then try to buy it
back, and arrest them when they do. I didn't.
Chief, is this legal? Is it legal for the
police to be out on the street giving people
drugs, and selling it to them as well?
