Phrolov Eugeny is an outstanding Russian
pilot, one of the test aviation experts, the
bearer of the order of the Hero of the Soviet
Union. In the seventies he started as a
member of all-USSR team in light weight
aircrafts acrobatic flying. In those days the
Soviet Union used to be an enormous but
united country, and the team was coached by
Kasum Gussein Nazhmutdinov, the former
military pilot,who was to become the coach of
the National Russian Federation team later
on. Among those he had given a start in life
to are such remarkable persons as Svetlana
Savitskaya, a cosmonaut, highly-skilled
pilots Lubov Morokhova-Nemkova, Valentina
Yaikova. Phrolov was one of the first pilots
who managed to fulfil flight manoeuvres on
jet plane. He piloted many types of the
aircrafts by Sukhoy: SU-24, SU-25, SU-30,
SU-35. He set up several world records on
SU-27. It was on SU-37 that Eugeny fulfilled
the transcontinental non-stop flight to South
America. Phrolov took part in lots of
international aircrafts ehibitions. Brave and
courageous by nature, he devoted all his life
to the sky. Russia pays high tribute to the
services such people rendered to the
country.
