This animation was created with the help of
my friend Riley Iwamoto. What you are
looking at is a 3-D rendering of Nose Hill
Park in Calgary; the line on the object is
the record of a spiral walk I did within the
park using a GPS tracker to record my
location. To give you a sense of the scale,
Nose Hill Park is roughly 5 km x 4 km (or 3 x
2.5 miles).
This drawing is part of a larger body of work
entitled 'Spiral Series', in which I have
experimented with drawing the spiral in a
variety of new and traditional media. Tags :GPSartACADRedecopp
