 |

stolen the previous main swords from the
series tisk tisk so they put up a mark on
Gilgamesh.
Clouds sword has kanji on it which actually
says replica =P A little humor. Sorry it took
so long had to nab the genji armor. =P Tags : Gilgamesh FF FFXII Final Fantasy Boss Hunt Mark |

| Final Fantasy V PS1 Version Gilgamesh Battle |
 |
I just felt like kicking it old school today.
This is when Gilgamesh was super pathetic in
the world of Final Fantasy. But you had fun
beating his ass anyway. I'm using the old
Brady Games Guide I've had for the longest.
I don't follow it to the letter most of the
time though. It told me to use a ninja to
kill all the normal enemies with skills(fire
ice lightning). Didn't follow that those
things cost alot of money.
I don't care about this PS1 vs GBA crap. I
stick with the PS1 version. I'm not gonna buy
the same game especially when there isn't
much content added to the game. 3 new (and
pretty useless) jobs...wow. (From what I hear
you get these jobs so late in the game no
real point in getting them unless you want to
master everything.) Tags : Final Fantasy Five FF5 FFV Gilgamesh Battle on the Big Bridge |

| Epic of Gilgamesh with 4500-year-old Lyre (extract) |
 |
A performance of part of the Epic of
Gilgamesh. This piece uses the
newly-reconstructed and completed Lyre of Ur,
which was found in a grave in ancient
Mesopotamia.
The original instrument was destroyed when
the Baghdad museum was looted, and this
reconstruction uses original materials - gut
strings, pink sandstone, lapis lazuli, gold.
The string tuning is based on pipes which
were found in the same grave, and which
appear in another video extract which we'll
upload shortly.
Andy Lowings reconstructed the Lyre with the
help of an international team, and the
extract you see here is performed by Bill
Taylor and Jennifer Sturdy - Jennifer wears a
headress and jewellery based on contemporary
designs, also trimmed with gold.
This video is a taste of a series of music,
dance and performance being written
especially for this instrument, which is
gaining great interest in the academic and
music world.
If you are interested in having the team
bring along this stunning instrument and
perform for your organisation, please call
Andy Lowings on +44 7709 268426 or in the UK,
07709 268426, and he will be happy to talk to
you.
I made this video as part of my own
contribution to the project. I used Neumann
mics into a Soundcraft mixer, with Sony
widescreen video cameras, and edited it on
Adobe Premiere pro. I hope you enjoy the
video!
If you want to see a higher quality version,
it will soon be on the Lyre of Ur site. In
the meantime you can find it here:

| Battle of Gilgamesh on Piano - FFV |
 |
This is me playing on the piano the song
"Battle of Gilgamesh" from "Final Fantasy V
Piano Collections", composed by Nobuo
Uematsu.
This song is very fun to play, and is easier
than it looks, but because its so long I lost
count of how many takes i needed to play it
perfectly (... ok, ALMOST perfectly, I
screwed up a little bit in the middle and in
the end, but nothing that can ruin the video,
I hope). I guess more than 40. I played at
least one an a half hour to do it right, but
I guess it came out good enough in the end.
The only thing that bothers me is the audio.
My camera has a really crappy microphone, so
I have opened the piano to see if the sound
would be better. Unfortunately it looks just
as bad as before, so I gave up. I dont have a
better camera anyway... :(
Well, thats it! I hope you enjoy it!

Este sou eu tocando no piano a música
"Battle of Gilgamesh" (Batalha de Gilgamesh)
bom no final. A única coisa que me incomoda
é o áudio. Minha câmera tem um lixo de
microfone, então desta vez eu tentei abrir
meu piano pra ver se o som melhorava.
Infelizmente está tão feio quanto antes,
então eu desisto. Não tenho uma câmera
melhor mesmo... :(
Bom, então é isso! Espero que aproveitem! Tags : Battle of Gilgamesh on Piano Final Fantasy FFV Nobuo Uematsu Video Game Games Music Musics Collections Bonafe Bonafé |
