| War in Georgia: 1400 dead, 150 Injured. |

About 1,400 people have died as a result of
"Georgian aggression" Against South Ossetia,
the president of the Georgian breakaway
region was quoted by Interfax news agency as
saying on Friday.
"About 1,400 died. We will check these
figures, but the order of the numbers is
around this. We have this on the basis of
reports from relatives," Eduard Kokoity was
quoted as saying by Interfax news agency.

UPDATE: Mississippi Highway Patrol
spokesperson Ben Williams said Freeman and a
female passenger were traveling eastbound on
Mississippi Highway 32 in Tallahatchie County
when his vehicle went off the edge of the
road. Freeman overcorrected, flipping his
1997 Nissan Maxima several times before
coming to a rest.

morgan freeman and a passenger were in a car
accident near ruleville, (sunflower county)
mississippi.
wenn news reported:
Freeman was airlifted to a hospital in
Memphis, Tennessee, where he is currently
receiving treatment. The extent of his
injuries are unknown, but state troopers tell
website TMZ.com that the actor was talking at
the scene of the accident before he was taken
to hospital.
The condition of Freeman's passenger is
also unknown.
Alcohol is not believed to have been a
factor in the accident.
