Strategically positioned between the RAV4 and
the Landcruiser, the latest luxury mid-size
SUV, the Toyota Vanguard, was released in
Tokyo on the 30th of August.
"There are three main features in this model.
The first feature, is the urban styling, this
is one of the most refined SUVs on the
market, with a classy interior made to
satisfy customers looking for a more
luxurious higher quality finish."
The exterior features a full chrome finish,
raised bonnet line and LED taillights, while
the open interior, consists of a two tiered
instrument panel, bronze-tone finish and
leather and alcantara seats.
" The second feature is that it's a 3 row, 7
seater, with seats which can be arranged in a
similar style to a mini-van."Vanguar
The second and third rows of seats can fold
down to create a nearly flat luggage space,
and by making components beneath the floor of
the car slimmer the opening to the luggage
space has been lowered.
"The third feature is that it includes a 3.5
liter V6 engine. This electronically
controlled 4WD is made for fun and can run on
all kinds of roads and surfaces, safely and
reliably. "
A newly designed suspension in conjunction
with the highly rigid body provide stability
and handling in both urban and rural driving
conditions.
The Vanguard also comes with a range of extra
features including a Smart Entry system,using
a key which doesn't need to be removed from
the drivers pocket and a HDD navigation
system.
