This is an educational orientation video,
aimed at introducing Singapore to new foreign
students studying in Singapore and pupils
holding Singapore permanent resident (SPR)
cards in primary schools, secondary schools
(including the Independent Schools (IS) and
those in the Integrated Programme (IP)),
junior colleges (JC) and the polytechnics. It
is especially recommended for viewing after
the Primary School Leaving Examination
(PSLE), or the two Semestral Assessments (SA1
and SA2), or the two Continual Assessments
(CA1 and CA2), where there are ample time for
some Civics and Moral Education (CME). The
importance of National Education (NE) cannot
be overemphasized, as the Ministry of
Education (MOE) has emphasized many times.
Students of the National University of
Singapore (NUS), Nanyang Technological
University (NTU) and Singapore Management
University (SMU) should also view this video,
especially if they are under various MOE or
Public Service Comission (PSC) scholarships
or the edusave scheme.
Foreign Talents (FT) and other
not-so-talented foreigners working at
Fusionpolis, Biopolis and the other "polis"
of various A*STAR organisations may be
interested to infuse themselves with some
knowledge of Singapore too.

While taking video for my "Derbyshire
villages by car" collection, using my dash
mounted camera I captured a lorry driver that
did not seem to care what was happening in
the back of his lorry.
I was behind the lorry from Belper,
Derbyshire all the way to Allestree where it
turned off to head north on the A38. This was
lunch time on Friday 8th June 2007.
As you can see in Belper where I joined the
traffic, the back shutter of the lorry was
down but by the time it got to Milford the
shutter opened up to reveal all the stuff
moving around and slamming into the sides and
front of the lorry.
I flashed him a couple of times but I dont
think he cared about the stuff moving around
in the back. He must have been aware of the
moving loads as it was very loud.
It did not have a "Hows my driving" phone
number on the back, perhaps its been snowed
under with calls?

M6 Traffic Cops - Sabina Eriksson 1 of the
SWEDISH TWINS who ran onto the M6motorway in
England is charged with Murder. Two Swedish
girls amazingly run onto english road,
highway, and survive being hit by a 38 tonne
lorry, Sabina Eriksson and her twin sister
run out in front of cars lorries after
fighting the police.

One of two women knocked down while walking
on a motorway has appeared in court.
The pair caused chaos on the M6 at Keele and
the northbound carriageway was shut for more
than four hours. Swede Sabina Eriksson, aged
40 and currently living in Ireland, pleaded
guilty to going on to the M6 motorway.

A woman will appear in court charged with the
murder of Glen Hollinshead.
Sabina Eriksson, aged 40, of Mallow, County
Cork, will be at North Staffordshire
Magistrates' Court in Fenton.
Mr Hollinshead, aged 54, was found behind his
home in Duke Street, Fenton, on May 20 with a
stab wound to his chest.

A woman who jumped from a bridge over the A50
after she allegedly stabbed a man to death
has appeared in court in a wheelchair.
Sabina Ericksson, aged 40, of College Wood,
Mallow, County Cork, is accused of the murder
of 54-year-old Glen Hollinshead.
Mr Hollinshead was found dead at the rear of
his home in Duke Street, Fenton, on May 20
this year. Ericksson, who fractured her skull
and both ankles, was brought into Stafford
Crown Court in a wheelchair.
Stuart Muldoon, defending, said a psychiatric
assessment of Ericksson would have to be made
before any plea. Judge Mark Eades adjourned
the case until November 21. Ericksson was
remanded in custody.
