The charm and natural talents of Gisele
MacKenzie made her 1957-1958 TV series one of
the best of its kind! With high production
values, a gifted host and great associates,
like a fine musical director (Axel Stordahl),
the show won many awards. Here lovely,
multi-talented, Gisele MacKenzie welcomes
Miyoshi Umeki as her guest. MS Umeki had
just won an Academy Award for her outstanding
performance in the film "Sayonara." Sadly,
MS Umeki died of cancer on August 28, 2007.
As a tribute to both Gisele and Miyoshi, here
is their cute banter and Miyoshi's
interpretation of "How Deep Is the Ocean"
from Gisele's March 29, 1958 live television
show.

I made this video commenorate the sacrifices
soldiers of ALL nations from every corner of
history. Yes some soldiers fought/fight for
questionable goals, but who do you think
ORDERS them? Yes, that's right, misguided and
corrupted politicians and leaders who
wouldn't know a good idea from a bad one if
it gnawed on their balls. And yet these brave
men and women STILL serve their nations.
When I said "commenorate this video to
soldiers" I only mean Soldiers. Why not
countries you might ask? Cause countries DO
NOT exist. If you were to go into outer
space, you would see no boundaries, marks and
borders. All you would see if our little
world. A WHOLE WORLD.
Borders and such were created on the sole
purpose to keep ourselves DIVIDED and
scattered and it has given us the age-old
illusion of "Race". We are exactly like
children whom "Draw a line" in their room to
attempt to seperate themselves from their
siblings-it's stupid and...well...childish!
And also, yes I too believe that War is a
necessary evil, but just because that is so
does NOT mean it is the only way certain
battles in history peace could have been
achieved.
I've accepted the fact for a long time that
War will still be waged in years to come, but
I KNOW that one day, perhaps in the not-so
distant future, We will finally drop every
weapon and attain true peace.
Btw, for you pessimistic viewers who think
war will go on forever and ever, etc etc .
SHUT THE HELL UP AND HAVE HOPE. If you have
the energy to muster up all that negative
feeling wouldn't ya'll have the same strength
to give yourselves hope? Instead of blaming
and scrutinizing your fellow human beings why
not work for a better future? or atleast
THINK of a better future.
If future generations carry on the same
pessimistic views and beliefs, humanity will
NEVER see the end of war, because War can
ONLY be eminiated not by throwing away
weapons or chastising others. No, War can
only be ended if everyone is willing to lay
down their arms, forget their petty
differences and TRUST each other.
And that comcludes my....thing. Oh and, If
you think war will consume us -entirely-why
the FUCK are you watching this video? Go see
some emo video or something.
