| Dylan Moran on Germany |
 |
Dylan Moran goes off on Germany and the
Germans.
Note: it's comedy, he's satirizing prejudice
in his signature surreal style. This segment
of his routine is bookended by Moran going
off on one about Australia, America and the
Irish. If you like it, buy the DVD "Like
Totally". If you don't, quit posting dumb
shit that's easy fodder. Blatantly racist
comments will be deleted immediately. If you
can't conduct a debate or resist spelling
like a dyslexic 11-year old, I will delete
all your comments and add you to the
ever-expanding Blocked Users List. Y'see, the
comments to this post are borderline
symphonic; some stretches demonstrate an
inspired genius and then you get the
swingback, lots of peeps shouting "Hurensohn"
and other tucknuttery that I will delete.
So, demfolgend, Hurensöhne werden sofort
gelöscht. Also, comments in languages other
than English will be deleted, as this is an
international audience and English is the
lingua franca. Tags : dylan moran germans germany hitler irish comedy like totally parody spoof stand-up sketch |

| Dylan Moran on Norwegian chat show |

Dylan Moran on a Norwegian chat show,
14.10.2005.
In the intro the host says something like:
Next up is Irish, Dylan Moran, one of Europes
hottest comedians at the moment. He's also
appeared in television series and movies such
as Notting Hill. He is in Norway to do shows
in Oslo and Bergen this weekend. Here is a
clip of Dylan Moran on the stage.
He is appearing together with the current
Norwegian Prime Minister, the Minister of
Finance and the Minister for Local Government
and Regional Development.
Sorry about the choppy sound between minutes
6 and 7 - but what she said is so ridiculous
that it's probably for the best..

| Jason Moran & The Bandwagon |
 |
Masterful jazz pianist-composer Jason Moran
returns with a theatrical, multimedia jazz
suite inspired by the work of conceptual
artist Adrian Piper. Moran has transformed
Piper's unique combination of the personal,
political, and theatrical into a
highly-charged, eveninglength suite that
speaks eloquently to his own life as a jazz
artist and black man. Featuring Moran and his
trio mates in The Bandwagon—bassist Tarus
Mateen and drummer Nasheet Watts—plus
vocalist Alicia Hall Moran and guitar great
Marvin Sewell, Moran's cross-generational
musical dialog with Piper asks probing
questions about self-identity and artistic
expression. Milestone is a thrilling jazz
concert of great music, with Moran's
innovative command of funk, text, and hip-hop
splicing added to the mix.
