Self-load and skid 20-foot, half-ton logs* by
yourself with your ATV and the Norwood®
SkidMateâ„¢ log-skidding arch.
Once secured with a choker chain** or
grapple**, the log rides up the slide bar and
is hoisted high into the arch when you gun
your ATV. The result? - You keep your logs
off the ground and mud-free.
At just 55" (137.5cm) wide (no wider than
most ATVs), and designed highly maneuverable,
the Norwood® SkidMate™ lets you skid logs
out of territory that would block a tractor.
The SkidMateâ„¢ rides clear over rocks, bumps
and holes, and boots clear of rocks, stumps
and fallen logs. How? - The SkidMateâ„¢ is
equipped with anti-snag side deflector bars
and strategically-located high-flotation
wheels to keep hang-ups to a minimum.
And your woodlot will benefit too! The
SkidMate's low weight and high-flotation
tires do less damage to your woodlot floor
than a draft horse.
* Maximum log length and weight will vary
depending upon terrain and ATV size and type.
Operation on hilly or mountainous terrain
not recommended.
** Choker chain with probe and grapple sold
separately.
Norwood TimberToolâ„¢ Tree-Felling Jack
Fell trees faster, safer and more accurately
with Norwood's® TimberTool™ tree-felling
jack.
Like a high-lift jack, the TimberToolâ„¢
cranks up to 1.8 tons/inch² pressure against
the tree. As you complete the felling cut,
the TimberToolâ„¢ pushes the tree through the
fall-line that you've chosen*.
With Norwood's® TimberTool™, you can
reduce your felling times by up to 75% How? -
The TimberToolâ„¢ reduces the need for
time-consuming wedging and cable rigging.
The TimberToolâ„¢ gently forces the felling
cut open while you saw so the tree doesn't
settle and bind your chainsaw bar and blade.
The TimberToolâ„¢ helps you better direct the
tree's fall-line so that you can limb and
buck where it is easiest and safest for you.
Constructed of heavy-duty Swedish steel with
Bridon internal cabling, the TimberToolâ„¢
also features sharp steel teeth that bite
into the tree-trunk and a steel foot that
claws into the ground.
Norwood Log Hogâ„¢ Log Skidder for Tractors
Skid logs easily and securely out of your
woodlot with your tractor and Norwoods® Log
Hogâ„¢ category 1 three-point hitch
log-skidding attachment.
MultiMate Multi-Utility System
The ATV MultiMateâ„¢ L-1500 is the world's
first multi-utility attachment that
transforms any ATV into a forklift, hydraulic
excavator, log skidder, dump-box, tractor and
much more.

boards to your dimension anytime. With the

as the sawhead and your household ladder as
the track. Mill logs up to 14" in diameter,
and as long as your ladder permits. Here's
how -
Clamp your log in place - Position the log
rests and lock the adjustable log dog.
Choose your cutting depth - Turn the crank
handle to raise or lower the chainsaw.
Make your cut - Engage the throttle at the
push handle and advance the saw along the
track.

sitting in your garage right now. What
projects could you do if you had your own
sawmill?
For small to mid-sized logs (below 10 inches
(25cm) in diameter), chainsaws of 50cc or
greater, equipped with ripping chain, are
usually sufficient. For mid-sized to larger
logs (10 - 14 inches (25cm - 35cm) in
diameter), chainsaws of 65cc or greater,
equipped with ripping chain, are recommended.
