this is my final test of the Tapco 20 round
polymer SKS magazines. I took all 6 mags and
tried a rapid fire test. they had been
sitting loaded for 3 weeks to see if there
was any feed lip fatigue. there was not.
everything worked perfectly excep the bolt
hold open didnt work one time, but when I
pulled back the bolt, it stayed open as it
should have.
and I knocked one round out while pulling the
mag out of my pocket, so I look like an ass
trying to pick it up.
overall, I rate these mags 9.8 out of 10.
they are the only SKS detachable mags that I
have found that actually work.
nice job Tapco!

I decided to make this video when I saw no
one on YouTube (that I could find) had posted
a how-to on the tear down and reassembly of
the venerable Siminov SKS Carbine. I think I
messed up in the very beginning by calling
the receiver cover the magazine cover, but I
uttered a correction under my breath (to my
defense, hehe)
I hope this video is informative to my fellow
gun enthusiasts.

Shooting at apples & potatoes. SKS kept
jamming, I think it has something to due with
the gas piston, I wouldn't cycle properly. Tags :ak47yugosksriflegunshootingassault
