The school is located in the Historic Center
of Sevilla. The campus is a modern Spanish
language school in the center of Sevilla's
business district in a lively pedestrian area
lined with shops and cafes.
The campus occupies a three-story,
traditional Sevilla-style building that has
been recently restored and furnished with
modern facilities such as air-conditioning,
library, multi-media room, and computers for
free access to the Internet.
Sevilla has the most intense southern flavor
of the European cities. A gateway to the
American in the times past, the city's port
was once the main center of the overseas
trading. Today, whilst still retaining its
historical background, the city has become a
large metropolitan area where the traditional
co-exits with modernity.
With a population of over 700,000 and the
capital of the Andalusian region, Sevilla of
today is an extremely vibrant city with
mountains of old traditions, but it's also
clearly invested in the future. Its rich
historical legacy, together with a temperate
climate and its welcoming and friendly
character, make Sevilla one of the most
sought after attractions in Spain.
Situated to the Southwest of the Iberian
Peninsula, the province of Sevilla, with a
population of approximately three million
people, is located in the middle of the
Andalusian Autonomous Region. It is the
largest of the region's provinces and the
city's regional capital.
Although Sevilla has a Mediterranean climate,
the province is also affected by the cooler
Atlantic influence of the Sierras and by the
somewhat hotter conditions of the
Guadalquivir River Valley. Throughout most of
the year, Sevilla enjoys an essentially mild
climate with warm temperatures. Spring and
autumn are the ideal seasons for visiting. As
rainfall is low, the pleasant weather and
sunny conditions are one of the province's
main tourist attractions.
