"Challenger" (No.3985) is on a 1,750 mile, 5
state tour that will end back in St. Paul
Minnesota, where it began 16 days ago. It was
built in 1943, and it was an amazing machine
to watch, as you will see in this video.

We felt like we were in the old days of
Bonnie and Clyde or Butch Cassidy and the
Sundance kid.
It was exciting and we hope you enjoy this
wild ride with us.
One of the neatest websites from Union
Pacific is this one on how the "Big boy"
steam locomotive engines work with a virtual
interactive steam locomotive to watch. Very
neat to visit here.

Coins have been put on rails for years. IN
fact you can go to the train Museum in
Sacramento and buy a FLATTENED Penny with a
symbol of a train on it. ALSO, NEVER in
history has a train ever been de-railed by a
coin! Especially a 1.08 Million LB train! IN
fact you can get one FLATTENED with a train
Symbol on it at the Train Museum in
Sacramento, California, it is such a common
thing.
Thanks to Ilea "Bonnie" for the great
driving, and thanks to you the viewers for
watching.
Best regards,

| Need Heat? Who you gonna call? Sibley Sheet Metal. |
 |
Spending way too much to heat my garage n the
winter (I live out there with my planes), I
switched from $200 worth of LP a month, to
about $60 of Gas a month to heat my garage.
This is the installation of a gas line from
the house, to the garage plus a Coleman down
blowing energy efficient heater. All work was
done by Rick and Lonnie from Sibley Sheet
Metal, Sibley Iowa, USA
712-754-4118.
Do I recommend them? Yes! That is why I did
this video, as I was impressed with the
thermal heat pump work they did for me.
So if you need heat or cold, call 'em up and
tell them Dave sent you.

| GUNSHOTS FIRED from 1931 FORD MODEL-A in Sibley Iowa. |
 |
Deciding to take a leisurely ride in my 71
year old brother in laws Ford Model A, I was
surprised, when he pulled out the guns to
test them !
Nothing like warning a guy, Ike! Haha.
Then we took a leisurely ride around Sibley
and to the Sand Pit pond, a favorite place of
mine.
Ike is really into period machines and this
1931 Ford is no exception.
Make sure to watch The best Steam Locomotive
video and Model A chases Train video for more
excitement about this car and a period Steam
locomotive too.

| Submarine Sinks in Sibley Pond with Rescue footage. |
 |
This 25 year old Pond Exploration Submarine
Sinks without being able to surface on 2
different occasions, requiring rescue
missions by Jeff and I.
This is a 25 year old Nikko Submarine, but
buoyancy changed when the camera bag filled
with water the first time. It takes a lot of
delicate balancing to get the buoyancy just
right.
I tried to use the underwater sub-cam, but
the ZipLok bag wasn't all the way closed, so
my Aiptek Pocket Cam X was ruined. Hope you
enjoyed this, though.
Stay tuned for more fun from Mr. Herbert's
Science class and thanks kindly for watching. Tags : Sibley Iowa Submarine Nikko Sinking Dave Herbert Mr. Herbert's Science class. |
