joy to the South African people. His music is
brilliant and the best for dance, that's if
you know how to lang arme dance. Geniet die

Boks vs Barbarians at Twickenham on 1 Dec 07.
Even though the Boks lost we had a lekker
time. What a great experience. This was just
after the world cup and our boys were tired
and it was their B team, but no excuses the
Barbar's played really well. It was Jason
Robinson's last international match. Farewell
Jason Robinson you will be missed, We really
appreciate you after playing South Africa in
the World cup when the Boks beat England 36 -
0. You were the only man playing your heart
out for England that day and when you went
off with all the blood on you face we admire
you for showing such skill & courage. Well
done you are a legend!!! Please feel free to

100 caps for South Africa and now he has
officaly resigned from iternational rugby, he
will sorely be missed.

Montgomery, who has now retired from
international rugby.
South Africa fullback Percy Montgomery
announced his retirement from international
rugby on Saturday after the Springboks'
resounding 53-8 victory over Australia in a
Tri-Nations match.
"Not many players get to choose when they
want to leave test rugby, and I think that's
what makes it so special for me because I
know that at test level it's time to go," the
country's most capped player and leading
points-scorer told reporters.
"I've had many memorable moments in the
Springbok jersey and some very testing ones
as well, but I'd never exchange one moment of
either the highs or lows.
"It's been a privilege to play for my country
and to play in some of the best teams the
world has seen," added the player, who earned
his 102nd cap against Australia on Saturday.
Joost van der Westhuizen, with 89 caps, is
South Africa's second most capped player.
Montgomery scored 893 points in an
illustrious 11-year career that spanned South
Africa's successful Tri-Nations championships
in 1998 and 2004, as well as winning the
World Cup in France last year.
"I was asked why I would come back after the
high of winning the World Cup in France, but
for me every time I put on a bok jersey was a
high and I got to do that eight more times
this year," he said.
Montgomery said he would continue to play for
Western Province in the Currie Cup this year
and was also available for the Stormers next
season."
"Most importantly I'd like to spend time with
my family, it's quite difficult going
overseas for four weeks at a time," said the
player. "I've been doubling-up seasons from
the World Cup and my body just needs a
break."

Joost Van der Westhuizen remains one of the
greatest players in the history of Blue Bulls
& South African rugby.
Van der Westhuizen only played for the Blue
Bulls as a provincial team - he never played
for any other team after making his first
class debut in 1992. His blood is definitely
blue!
For the better part of his career, Van der
Westhuizen enjoyed plenty of success with the
Springboks, especially after the side won the
1995 World Cup. In that tournament's
nail-biting final, he famously tackled All
Black Jonah Lomu to prevent the giant wing
from scoring a try.
Van der Westhuizen also captained the
Springbok Sevens team, played in Nick
Mallett's Springbok team of 1998 and was at
the helm of the Springbok team when they
finished third at the 1999 World Cup.
In 1998, standing in as captain for the
injured Ruben Kruger, Van der Westhuizen led
to the Blue Bulls to a memorable semi-final
win over Natal and followed that up with the
ultimate prize of winning the Currie Cup.
In 2002, in his final year of Currie Cup
rugby, Van der Westhuizen led a young Blue
Bulls team under coach Heyneke Meyer into the
final, winning that game 31-7 against the
odds.
