Kristen Chenoweth and Stanley Wayne Mathis
sing "My New Philosophy" from the revival of
"You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown."
"You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" premiered
in 1967 with Gary Burghoff ('Radar O'Reilly'
in TV's M*A*S*H) as 'Charlie Brown' and Bob
Balaban (probably best known as the
translator for Francois Truffaut's character,
'Monsiour Lacombe', in "Close Encounters of
the Third Kind") was 'Linus'. The song ("My
New Philosophy") and the character ('Sally')
were written for the revival; they were not
in the original production.

Kristin Chenoweth came to Cal State Fullerton
(the school I attend), and gave a master
class. She treated us at the end by singing
a song for us entitled "A Girl Like Me",
which Andrew Lippa wrote for her, and she
will also be singing it at this month's
concert at the Walt Disney Concert Hall. :)
She is amazing!
