| Jim Valvano Speech Reynolds Coliseum |
 |
On February 21, 1993, NC State honored the
1983 NCAA Championship basketball team in
Reynolds Coliseum. Their coach Jim Valvano
was working the game for ABC and gave this
speech before a standing room only crowd.
This speech precluded his famous ESPY speech.
He died of cancer on April 28, 1993 .
Don't give up, don't ever give up.

People have asked me where I got this footage
from, I sat in the upper half of Reynolds
Coliseum with my own camera and taped the
speech never thinking that anyone but close
friends would ever see it. I recently
uploaded the entire ceremony on YouTube. It
is in six parts and can be found by clicking
on my username. Tags : Valvano NC State Wolfpack ACC Basketball Speech Cancer Reynolds Coliseum ESPN Espy Sportscenter Duke Lowe UNC Yow |

| The Implosion Of The New Haven Coliseum |
 |
Reposted In All Its Non-Copyrighted Glory!
On January 20, 2007 - New Haven,
Connecticut's beloved sports and music arena,
The New Haven Veteran's Memorial Coliseum -
was imploded because it was too expensive to
attempt to revitalize it to its once majestic
splendor. The demolition and removal will
hopefully make room for future improvements
in the area.
UPDATE: It was replaced with a parking lot.
This is the video of that implosion. Shot by
me, Jonathan Paula - enjoy!
With help from Joe Collesano, Jory Caron, and
Ezra Horne.
An ideo Production.
