Studios early Sunday, destroying a set from
'Back to the Future,' the King Kong exhibit
and a video vault containing more than 40,000

Hours after it began -- a massive fire at
Universal Studios in California was still
raging. SOT: it looked like a bomb had
exploded in the San Fernando valley
Flames tore through movie sets and part of
the theme park early Sunday morning.
SOT; the fire started on a back lot area on
New York Street - it moved through that area
extremely fast. Among the losses - movie
sets -- mockups of New York and New England
Streets. A King Kong exhibit. And a
video vault building that had more than
40-thousand videos and reels. SOT:
fortunately nothing irreplaceable was lost we
have duplicates -- obviously a lot to
replicate, but it can be done. In
addition to battlling the towering flames,
fire crews also had a problem with water
pressure.[Notes:presser POOL]SOT: I want to
assure everyone that we're going to look into
it, as to the water pressure issues at the
onset of the fire. There's no question there
was a lack of water pressure. [Notes:aptn
aerials] The cause of the blaze is under
investigation - but officials say a
commercial shoot was going on, when the fire
began.[Notes:pool ground shots]Some older
sets were destroyed -- including the
courthouse square from "Back to the Future'
-- and the famous clock tower from the movie.
But Universal officials say, despite the
enormity of the fire -- only one show in
production - Ghost Whisperer -- may be
effected. SOT: Ron Meyer, president, we're
really lucky today, it could have been much
worse. Also fortunate: No major injuries

Ok, now for the serious stuff. I warn you in
the very beginning of this show, this is YAOI
(BOYXBOY). Stop telling me you hate yaoi if
u sat and watched it the whole way through.
Obviously then you don't hate it and you're
either in deep denial or a hypocrite. Either
or doesn't bode too well with me.
I can understand if you don't like the
particular pairing, that's fine. But STOP
WITH THE "I HATE YAOI" SHIT!!
