sold John Lennon's handwritten lyrics to
"Give Peace a Chance" for $833,654. The
lyrics were written during Lennon's 1969
Bed-in protest for peace at the Queens
Elizabeth Hotel in Montreal. (July
11)Handwritten and framed ---- these are the
original lyrics to John Lennon's famous
anti-war song 'Give Peace A Chance'And
Thursday, they were auctioned off in London
to anyone willing to pony up what turned out
to be a rather a huge sum of money.SOT: Gail
Renard: "My greatest fear, and my friends
will tell you, I panicked yesterday, because
I didn't think it would sell.Gail Renard was
with Lennon and Yoko Ono in 1969 as the
former Beatle began scribbling the lyrics
down on a piece of paper....At the time, the
famous couple were staging a Bed-in protest
for peace at the Queens Elizabeth Hotel in
Montreal.Lennon soon handed Renard the
original draft of the song, Asking her to
rewrite them in larger print so that they
could record a version of the song in the
room.....And everyone involved in the protest
could take part.It was a gift that the then
16-year-old girl had kept for nearly 40
years....SOT: (English) Gail Renard, previous
owner of John Lennon lyrics:I told myself,
and I meant it: if it didn't sell, I still
had the lyrics, and I had the greatest time
in the world and met some splendid people.
But she wouldn't have to worry about
that....the lyrics brought in a whopping 833
thousand, 654 dollars....SOT: Renard I've
still got that (that memory) and now it's
sold! Other items sold at the auction
included a pair of prescription sunglass worn
by Lennon and an amp used by Jimi Hendrix

Bezi (A lean Mac line bitch) is in for a
re-train from another kennel..She knows what
to do but refuses to apply. (Compromise a
little with hold due to heat). Heavy pressure
at this point will make her loose total
interest in the bumpers or birds..She is
Extremely pouty..When she came in she would
drop play bumpers at the shore or 10- 20'
away on land...The comfort zone you need by
your side was not there..Fear of fetch and
hold was a huge problem..Now she, even after
a session of fetch and hold can rebound
back..As you can see..ABSOLUTELY
NO COMMANDS ARE GIVEN while throwing
bumper..She needs to gain that confidence
that it is ok to work...I will need to trick
her by saying Subtle commands intermingled
with praise...This will help tie the proper
retrieve to hand all together..
