The Late Late Show 2005 - Marcus Garvey
Marcus Garvey words come to pass
can't get no food to eat
can't get no money to spend
come little one let me do what i can
for you and you and you alone
come little one come
let me do what i can
for you and you alone
know the right and do he not
shall be spanked with many stripes
weeping and wailing and mourning
you've got yourself to blame
i tell you
do right, do right, do right...
tell you to do right
beg you to do right
where is Bagawire
he's nowhere around
he can't be found
first betrayer who gave away Marcus Garvey
son of Satan, first prophecy
hold'em Marcus hol'em
prophecy fulfilled
catch them Marcus catch them Tags : sinead o'connor marcus garvey the late show |

| Paul van Dyk LET GO ft. Rea Garvey NEW VIDEO HQ |
 |
Great new video from this amazing DJ &
producer. Paul van Dyk's hugely successful
career matches any of dance music's biggest
stars, enjoying consistent album-sales in
numerous territories, while the queues
outside any event bearing his name tell their
own story.
His new single, 'Let Go' is a classic slab of
pure Paul van Dyk and a favourite from his
club sets (the reaction to the live version
at SW4 will no doubt stick in the mind for
some time). Vocals come from Rea Garvey of
German guitar heroes, Reamonn. TRL sensation
Shane Drake has been brought on board to
direct the video that was shot in downtown
Los Angeles.
Drake has quickly become Hollywood's leading
music video director for his outstanding work
on such videos as Timbaland's 'The Way I
Are', Paramore's 'Crushcrushcrush' and Panic!
At the Disco's 'I Write Sins and Tragedies'
for which he won the 2006 MTV Video Music
Award for Best Director.
Let Go' is the new single from Paul van Dyk's
recent album, 'In Between'. 'No.1 on the
iTunes Dance album chart, it was heralded by
the dance and mainstream press, and is van
Dyk's fifth artist long-player, and further
cemented 2007 as another fantastic year for
the Grammy nominee. Tags : Paul van Dyk PVD Rea Garvey Reamonn Let Go New Single Electronic Dance DJ Deejay Trance Mute Positiva |

Songtext:
[Instrumental]
Well I heard there was a secret chord
that David played and it pleased the Lord
But you don't really care for music, do ya?
Well it goes like this :
The fourth, the fifth, the minor fall and the
major lift
The baffled king composing Hallelujah
Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah
Hallelujah...
Well your faith was strong but you needed
proof
You saw her bathing on the roof
Her beauty and the moonlight overthrew ya
And she tied you to her kitchen chair
She broke your throne and she cut your hair
And from your lips she drew the Hallelujah
Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah

| Meet Seamus Garvey |

A professor of dynamics, Seamus Garvey's one
of the scientists being followed for 12
months as part of the Test Tube film project.
Here he tells us a few things about himself,
including his early experiments with
three-stringed kites. But his big idea at the
moment involves capturing energy in giant
bags under the sea. Find out more about Test
Tube at http://www.test-tube.org.uk/ Tags : Seamus garvey Test Tube professor university of nottingham |
