David Gergen post-debate analysis on CNN.
Gergen: "It then hit the personal animosity
of the advertising and then I thought McCain
swerved off track...He got overemotional
about it. He looked angry. And it was almost
an exercise in anger management up there for
him to contain himself. And Obama maintained
his cool, and I thought that changed the tone
of the debate and Obama won the last half
hour. I thought Obama really did well on
education, abortion and health care." Tags :JohnMcCainBarackObamaFinalDebateDavidGergenAngerManagement
During the panel discussion on This Week,
David Gergen tells the truth about what the
McCain campaign is doing when they call Obama
"the one" and quotas. George Will then
disparages Obama for heaven forbid being
educated at Harvard says makes him upper
crust as though that's a bad thing for
someone to have a similar education to what
he had. I also think Jake Tapper just did a
huge flip flop in this clip because he goes
from saying how vigilant they've been in
watching where the attacks on Obama have come
from and it's not McCain, and then admits
that Republicans know the ad had racial
overtones. Which is it Jake? Tags :ThisWeekGeorgeStephanopoulosDavidGergenWillJakeTapperDonnaBrazile
