and he contemplates the Law of Gravity, like

subject is changed.
Rosencrantz discovers physics: "Energy is
neither created nor destroyed, only
transferred", "For every action there is an
equal and opposite reaction"; which is foiled
by Guildenstern who says "leave things
alone".

Rosencrantz discovers steam power; which is
foiled by Guildenstern wanting to use the
water. The pinwheel then begins to blow in

"Ball vs Feather - Question Game"
clip 3 of 6
Rosencrantz stumbles upon the Theory of the
Speed of Gravity being a Constant, but it is
foiled by Guildenstern witnessing his flawed
demonstration which actually exhibits the Law
of Aerodynamics.
The Question Game is played on an early
badmitten/tennis court as a spoof on the
basis of Socratic & even Shakespearean
Dialogue; and the "play within a play"
concept parallel to "The World's a Stage" and
"Life's a Game".

"Play within a Play" "The World is a Stage"

clip 4 of 6
The Actors are the only characters who will
talk with them outside of the Hamlet script.
They are practicing a play to perform within
a play and they live only to act. No
questions are asked or answered that are not
within the script.
Rosencrantz discovers how to make a paper
airplane, and then a design for a biplane;
which is foiled by Guildenstern who is not to
be distracted from eavesdropping.
