Jul 22 - On the run for 11 years, former
wartime president of the Bosnian Serbs
Radovan Karadzic faces two indictments by the
war crimes tribunal.Karadzic faces charges
for the deaths of unarmed civilians during
the siege of Sarajevo and for his role in the
massacre of 8,000 Muslims in the Bosnian town
of Srebrenica in 1995.Deborah Lutterbeck
reports.

| Karadzic extradited to The Hague |

The former Bosnian Serb leader Radovan
Karadzic has arrived at the international
criminal court detention centre in The Hague.
He is expected to appear before a judge on
Thursday. Karadzic, who was captured in
Belgrade on July 21 after 13 years on the
run, faces eleven charges, including genocide
and crimes against humanity.
