| Uncounted - The Ballad of Steve Heller |
 |
http://www.uncountedthemovie.com
All he was doing was his job when Steve
Heller found "smoking-gun proof" that an
electronic voting machine manufacturer was
breaking the law in California. This is one
man's story of standing up for liberty,
freedom, and democracy - and then getting his
ass kicked for it.
From Uncounted's "Whistleblowers Should Have
Their Own Trading Cards. With Bubblegum"
Series.

Clip from UNCOUNTED: The New Math of American
Elections, a documentary by Emmy
award-winning director David Earnhardt, that
takes a close look at an election system
where millions of votes routinely go
uncounted.
UNCOUNTED also shows how the election fraud
that changed the outcome of the 2004 election
led to even greater fraud in 2006 - and now
looms as an unbridled threat to the 2008
election. Tags : uncounted steve heller diebold electronic voting machines california hacking kucinich impeachment 2008 election fraud |

Washington, DC resident Dick Heller was
trusted to protect government employees with
a firearm but due to a gun ban in the city he
was not allowed to protect himself and his
family with that same tool. Heller joined
with others to fight the ban, in a case that
eventually resulted in a ruling by the
Supreme Court that affirmed that the Second
Amendment, like all other Amendments, are
about individual rights. Heller notes that
this case was initially about gun rights but
eventually grew to be about something larger
-- freedom. Tags : dc heller gun ban second amendment freedom police state 2nd firearm right keep bear arms bureaucrash liberty |

Professor Michael Heller visits Google's
Mountain View, CA headquarters to discuss his
book "The Gridlock Economy: How Too Much
Ownership Wrecks Markets, Stops Innovation,
and Costs Lives." This event took place on
July 18, 2008, as part of the Authors@Google
series.
25 new runways would eliminate most air
travel delays in America. Why can't we build
them? 50 patent owners are blocking a major
drug maker from creating a cancer cure. Why
won't they get out of the way? 90% of our
broadcast spectrum sits idle while American
cell phone service lags far behind Japan's
and Korea's. Why are we wasting our airwaves?
98% of African American--owned farms have
been sold off over the last century. Why
can't we stop the loss? All these problems
are really the same problem—one whose
solution would jump-start innovation, release
trillions in productivity, and help revive
our slumping economy.
The Gridlock Economy is a startling,
accessible biography of an idea. Nothing is
inevitable about gridlock. It results from
choices we make about how to control the
resources we value most. We can unlock the
grid; this book shows us where to start.
Michael Heller is one of America's leading
authorities on ownership. He is the Lawrence
