'The Circle' was written in response to a
senseless tragedy -- the murder of Jennifer
Crecente, a high school senior and friend of
Daley Hodges who sings and co-wrote the song.
Jennifer's family & friends want very much
for her life, and their loss, to create some
good in the world. Our hope is that we can
help others avoid the type of situation that

The outdoor scenes in the video were shot
where a memorial, made & tended by Jennifer's
family and friends, marks the place where her
body was found.
The song has come to speak for all those who
have suffered the anguish of losing someone
they love.
