| #722 - Building A KICKASS Gaming Rig ( Part 1/3) Video |
 |
"This Video is part 1 of 3 on "Building a
KICKASS Gaming Rig". In this video, I will
outline how to select the correct hardware.
The average computer user still purchases
pre-built systems. The reason for this is
that most find selecting the right components
and installing them a very daunting task.
This Video is intended to help you build your
own high end gaming computer system. Please
remember though, that this video is intended
as a general guide. Watch the Video to find
out more..." ~3dGameMan.com Tags : Building KICKASS Gaming Rig |

Breaking News: Lead singer of My Chemical
Romance, Gerard Way is calling Umbrella
Academy his debut comic. BUT, we dug up a
comic he published way back when he was in
high school called "On Raven's Wings".
Mark Millar and John Romita take on real life
people getting into superhero suits in
Kick-Ass #1. This "real life" superhero even
has a MySpace profile. Is this a gimmick or
is it a book worth picking up? Find out in
this review.
Is Thor #6 the Thor we've been waiting for?
It's still early on in this series, but we
think this book has finally arrived with this
issue.
Then Captain America #35, continues the great
story arc with Bucky as the new Captain
America. Justin calls it "an event comic
written like a regular comic".
In this Speed Round, we check out Good & Evil
#1 which actually had some unexpected
Biblical overtones, Ex Machina #34, Brave and
The Bold #10 which is fun old school comic
book action, Abyss #3, and Locke & Key #1
written by Joe Hill, Stephen King's son.
In the mailbag: Metamorphic asks about our
take on Mini-Series. Do more minis mean less
attention to long-running series? Are more
minis a good thing? Tags : comic book reviews comics stephen king my chemical romance gerard way umbrella academy funny thor bucky captain america |

| All Star Superman #11, Ultimate Origins #1, and Kick Ass #3 |
 |
Leading off the week it's Newsarama Sneak
Reviews of Ultimate Origins #1 and All Star
Superman #11. The guys felt Ultimate Origins
didn't quite live up to the hype it's been
getting, but they do say to pick it up.
Justin has great things to say about the
newest issue of All-Star Superman and Alex
and Pete agree. Next up it's Kick Ass #3.
Pete says he literally jumped out of his seat
after reading the ending reveal, but is
careful not to spoil the surprise. During the
Speed Round we check out Wolverine First
Class #3, Firebreather #1, Angel Revelations
#1, and Northlanders #6, and Speak of The
Devil #6.
Finishing off, Lindsey writes in asking if
the guys think that there is still a gender
divide in comic book collecting.
