rewarded for leading others and setting a
trend.
2- Allah said in the Quran that those who
support Islam while it is weak obtain a
higher station than those who support it
later, even though both will get their
rewards.
3- The success and failure of this drive have
consequences (listed below).
Why numbers matter?
· So, we can approach corporate sponsors,
e.g. DELL or Apple, to donate for educational
causes.
Still have excuses?
· I'm just one person. Why should it matter
whether I join or not?
o Very true, but the problem is when 1
million other Muslims all think the same way.
· I already bookmarked the site or
subscribed to the feed
o Well, you are not counted until you join
the mailing list. Joining is a sign of
commitment.
· I can't pay online
o The prophet (SAW) didn't say to sit on the
side, but he said, "If you can't then help
with a pleasant word." So, still join the
mailing list.
· I'm poor and/or stingy and not planning to
donate
o Every poor/stingy Muslim knows a
rich/generous donor who can donate $1. So if
you can't or won't donate, you can still lead
others to goodness.
