I finally collected my resources at
Miscellania after 8 months of gathering!!! I
had no choice but to collect, with the
workers telling me--- "THE KINGDOM's STORES
ARE FULL, you need to collect now!"
Lol I had no idea there was a limit, but I
found it!
What am I talking about?---
In the game of RuneScape you can get your
very own kingdom by doing a few quests. This
kingdom has workers that will gather
resources for you, provided you put money
into the kingdom's coffers. You can use up to
75,000 gold each day, but can easily double
your money after selling the items they
collect for you!
I am not 100% sure how long exactly I've had
this going, but I think it was going for 6-8
months nonstop, keeping the coffers well
above the 750,000 mark through most of it,
also keeping kingdom favor at 90-100% for the
vast majority of the time.
I had 10 workers on mining and 5 on maple
trees the entire time.
I more then doubled my money, pumping in
anywhere from 15-18m gold, and getting back
about 37m in items (most items valued to near
lowest prices at Grand Exchange).
My only complaint has to be how much seeds
have fallen since I started this! I could
have easily made much more going by the seed
prices of summer 2007. Ah well =\
Misc remains a great way to make some easy
free cash, but as time moves on prices may
continue to fall on items from there. For
example- Coal was 200 each back then, but is
currently 160 now. If it falls 60 more, there
will be very little profit to be made from
misc mining!
I highly recommend misc to runescape members,
but I do not recommend you wait as long as I
did (since prices can change dramatically
over time).
Most items will be put up for sale, and I'll
probably go another 8 months, before I
collect again =)
