We intentionally created conditions in which
the Li-ON battery pack would explode inside a
generic portable. The results are dramatic.
There are numerous conditions where these
fires can occur in real life. Faulty battery
packs (driving the recalls), faulty
protection circuits inside the PC, exposure
to excessive heat, and blunt force are some
of the major ways that this could happen to
you.

NOTE: There seems to be a mini-debate
forming over what "PC" means in this
instance. Sit down and grab a cup of cocoa
because we're about to tell you...
When we originally made/named the video we
were in college and never expected anyone but
our college buddies to be watching this junk.
So "PC" was a reference to the "Positive
Choice" dormitories on campus that allowed no
alcohol/tobacco/etc. All our college buddies
understood what it meant, but it turns out
there is actually a world beyond your college
campus. (A common mistake.) If we could go
back in time and give the video a more
universal title, would we do it? Probably.
And if we could go back in time and play
Little League with our adult bodies, would we
do it? ABSOLUTELY.
