| Pedal-Car Gets Pulled Over By Toronto Cops. |
 |
This was recorded 26 October 2007 in downtown
Toronto, Canada.
Michel de Broin, an artist, had totally
stripped down a 1986 Buick Regal and
outfitted it with 4 independent pedal and
gear mechanisms. This was part of 'art' piece
being exhibited at the Mercer Union Gallery
(24 October - 8 December).
Anyway, the police noticed the car's test
drive and thought to pull it over and check
it out.
No tasers were employed, but it did cost the
occupants an expensive towing charge. Tags : pedal car pulled over by police Toronto |

| Pedal The Ocean |
 |
When I designed, built and powered my
Critical Power human powered vehicle 650
miles in 24 hours setting a new world record,
my message to the world was to raise
awareness of the serious health issues
afflicting modern society caused by our
sedentary lifestyle. Simply put - To stem the
obesity epidemic, we need to become more
active!
When was the last time you drove your car 650
miles in one day? On July 19th, 2006, I
covered that unfathomable distance on a
bicycle! - my way of showing the world that a
human powered vehicle is a valid, efficient
and fun way to travel.
Now, I plan to do the same thing by crossing
the Atlantic ocean in a human powered boat. A
small, solo sail boat can take between 30 to
60 days to cross the Atlantic, and my goal is
to accomplish the crossing in 40 to 50 days
proving again that human power can compete
head to head with conventional forms of
transportation. Tags : human power powered boat vehicle Atlantic ocean sailing endurance expedition adventuresofgreg pedaltheocean recumbent |

| Dunlop Jimi Hendrix FuzzFace Fuzz Pedal |
 |
www.ProGuitarShop.com-The Dunlop Jimi Hendrix
FuzzFace is another shining example of the
dedication of Dunlop's engineers to bringing
you the vintage tones you've been looking
for. The Jimi Hendrix FuzzFace is an exact
duplicate of the 1969 Dallas Arbiter Fuzz
Face that Jimi used. This is not only an
exact copy, the Dunlop engineers went through
a pile of FuzzFace madness and replicated the
ones they found to have the magic "Voodoo"
tone. This recreation is point-to-point
wired with the highest quality components to
give you the exact tone Jimi was famous for.
The Jimi Hendrix FuzzFace is chock full of
sweet fuzzy goodness. This pedal was modeled
after the later silicon based Arbiter pedal.
It isn't quite as muddy as it's germanium
counterparts and gives you an awesome,
cutting tone that will put your lead out
front of the mix. Back off the volume knob
and experience incredible clean tones with
lot's of chime and character. The Jimi
Hendrix Fuzz Face is also true-bypass (ok, so
the replication isn't exact) to keep your
signal clean and pure. This FuzzFace is
incredible for blues or classic rock. The
Jimi Hendrix FuzzFace is the missing link in
your tone. Tags : Dunlop FuzzFace Jimi Hendrix Arbiter pedal fuzz face |

| T-Rex Replica Delay Pedal |
 |
www.ProGuitarShop.com - The T-Rex Replica
Delay pedal is the most natural sounding
delay pedal we've run across to date. In a
world where digital is a bad word, T-Rex has
broken the boundaries and designed a pedal
that can fool almost any ear. The Replica
features 24-bit Burr Brown AD/DA converters
that keep every nuance of the signal intact
and sparkling clean. Featuring a tap tempo
switch and delay up to 1550ms, the T-Rex
Replica Delay pedal also gives you a
Subdivision switch for triplet delays and a
Brown switch for a high cut filter on the
delays.
The T-Rex Replica Delay pedal had me fooled.
I truly thought that no digital delay on the
planet could sound as natural as this. With
the Brown switch engaged, the Replica gives
you warm almost lo-fi sounding delay repeats
that sound analog. The 24-bit Burr Brown
converters are some of the highest quality
you can get and so is the tone of the
Replica. The Subdivision knob works with the
tap tempo to give you a triplet delay that
works well with funk or country. For the
highest quality digital delay found in a
stompbox, check out the T-Rex Replica Delay
pedal. Tags : T-Rex Replica Delay pedal |
