| Very old Century S3 Fan |
 |
These were made to cool large offices. This
is a very old Model S3 fan with true split
phase motor, non-oscillating. More powerful
than it's predesessor, the S4, it accelerates
the blades faster than any real fan I ever
saw! The later S3 fans have steel bases, this
one has a cast-iron base. Tag says: "Century"
Split Phase Motor, model S3. Tags : Antique Electric Fan |

| CN Predecessor Geeps in Green Bay in February, 2008 |
 |
With the weather alternating between
snowstorms and extreme cold during the first
three weeks of February 2008, this
cold-sensitive railfan whose car does not
feature traction control or ABS only managed
to get two train videos during that period.
However, the two videos combined feature one
four-axle locomotive from each of the three
U.S. Midwestern railroads that have been
absorbed into Canadian National. First is
Illinois Central 3120, a GP40R, pulling the
Park Job local (CN Train L578) back to the
yard on February 1. Then on February 13 at
Potts Avenue in the suburb of Ashwaubenon, we
see GP38-2 Grand Trunk Western 5830 either
towing or involved in a push-pull with
Wisconsin Central 3021, a GP40. Tags : train railroad railway railfan Wisconsin Central LTD WC WCL Illinois IC Grand Trunk Western GTW GT Canadian National CN EMD GP40 GP38-2 locomotive |
