| Add Overlay Graphics using Quicktime Pro |

In this video, I discuss how to create
overlay a graphic logo on your videos. A lot
of you use Youtube, blip.tv, viddler, vimeo,
metacafe and the like to house your videos.
Often times you see professional looking
videos with logos overlayed. This trick that
I talk about utilizes Quicktime Pro to do the
same effect. All that is required is a
transparent PNG logo of your choice, and a
copy of Quicktime Pro ($30). There are other
software tools out there which can probably
do this trick and more, but I found that this
solution is fairly cheap and flexible for
what I need. I hope you can get some use out
of it as well.

Step 1: Download subinacl.msi from the link
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=23418
and install it.
Step 2: Download my modified version of
reset.cmd from
http://gerger.com/o/assets/x/?id=22540 and
save the file in 'C:\Program Files\Windows
Resource Kits\Tools'.
Step 3: Open Command Prompt and type the
following without quotes (hit Enter):
'cd c:\program files\windows resource
kits\tools'
Step 4: Now type 'reset.cmd' and hit Enter
(without quotes)
You will see the Command Line Tool running
for some seconds. The issue should have been
fixed and Quicktime should run again.

| Embedding QuickTime Movie in HTML |

The purpose of this video tutorial is to show
how to embed QuickTime movie in HTML. We use
Adobe Dreamweaver to introduce some of the
main 'attributes' used in QuickTime's Embed
Tag. Another approach we show in this VTC is
use of a built-in Java function (Behavior)
that is available in Dreamweaver to embed
QuickTime video.
Note that this is a revised version
especially designed for YouTube viewers. The
entire video can be viewed for free at The
