| SATANIC SURFERS armless skater 1997 Montreal |

This is the 1st SATANIC SURFERS show in
Montreal for SNO JAM 1997. 2 Nights with 10
bands. We always loved the SATANIC SURFERS.
My friends were always singing to the album
HERO OF OUR TIME in their cars, so it brings
back alot of great memories. They just
sounded cooler than the Californian bands,
they had an extra something going on. Yeah,
the singer is also the drummer. FUCK !! What
? Insane. So tight. The Surfers became good
friends with the promoter of the show, Paget
Williams, which happened to be my next door
neighbor at the time. I was living with
Curtis; ex-SNFU ex-Trigger Happy. The Surfers
would sleep at our house, skate our backyard
ramp. They even visited us when they weren't
on tour. Simply cuz they liked it here.
MONTREAL certainly enjoyed the Satanic
Surfers. So much so that i tattooed their
logo on my leg. It was Paget's birthday that
night. The Surfers sang him Happy Birthday at
the end of the show.

gotten such a strong reaction from people.
Most comments are positive, but we get our
share of negative critiques too. Not
surprisingly, the harsh attacks say nothing
of the issues addressed, and are merely
personal insults of no substance. Perhaps
these idiotic 'critics' are commenting on the
title of the show, and not the content. Many
of these same bitter morons have no concept
of grammar. What they all share in common is
that none of them have the guts to use their
real name. These cowards hide behind their
computers, making their comments pointless.
