look at the 1933-built city slaughterhouse as
the newly renovated ultra neo-deco structure
plays host to the Shanghai International
Creative Industry Week...an event bringing
together art and design shops from all over
the world. [Musical guest: the enormously
talented local Shanghainese band "Cold
Fairyland" (冷酷仙境) performing "Shadow
Games" -- recorded at the drummer's apartment
in late December.]
