Viacom appears to have abused their ability
to remove videos and entire channels through
copyright claims. While I have always agreed
that their property should be protected and
should be removed if they needed it to be.
This time they crossed the line. Actually
they have done this many times before. Here

This is not the only time Viacom has acted
very aggressively with people on the
internet. They do this because they are a
large corporation and think they can get away
with it. For the most part they have.
Recently some trigger happy person at Viacom
took down the video Viacom vs you from
youtube. It was obvious to everyone that
there was absolutely no copyright issue with
that video whatsoever. Yet it was still
removed. Most videos that are taken down
unjustly never see the light of day again. I
am only back up now because of all the
support from my viewers.
This is not just a Viacom problem, it is also
a youtube problem. Anyone can accuse any
channel anytime for copyright infringement.
It is up to the accused to prove their
innocence rather then the accusor. From what
I have seen there are no severe penalties for
a false copyright claim made by a channel or
a business. Channels and businesses that make
more then one false copyright claim need to
be punished severely for their actions. This
is a very serious subject on youtube and
around the net. This has happened multiple
times to many different channels.
There is also no distinction between a
copyright infringing video and a video
dealing with fair use.
TRADE MARK / COPYRIGHT INFO:
Trademarks and "service marks" — are
governed in the U.S. by the federal Lanham
Act, along with various different laws in the
individual states. The basic purpose of
trademark law is to protect consumers by
enabling them to rely on recognizable marks
to identify the source of goods and services.
It follows that unless there is a likelihood
that the unauthorized use of a trademark or
service mark will confuse consumers, there is
no violation of trademark law. In many cases,
courts don't need to address fair use or
other possible defenses because there is no
real likelihood of confusion.
But trademark rights are closely related to a
number of other rights, and trademark owners
will also frequently make claims about
"dilution", "passing off", "unfair
competition", or the "right of publicity".
"Trademark dilution" lets owner of a "famous"
mark stop any use that blurs or tarnishes its
distinctiveness ( Not Reputation) — even if
there is no chance that consumers will be
confused. Because the concept of dilution has
such potentially broad reach, there are
specific defenses in the federal Lanham Act
that are applicable to claims of dilution.
"All forms of news reporting and news
commentary" are exempted, as are comparative
advertising, and "noncommercial use". The
First Amendment and state constitutional
protections for speech provide additional
protections for news reporting and
commentary.
While I do state certain legal items in my
videos and in my text it is up to you to do
your own research. I am here to shed some
light on a pretty dark subject, but by no way
am I responsible for any conclusions you draw
from my videos or my information. If you are
going to act against someone for anything
dealing with a copyright lawsuit. Hire your
own attorney and go over your claim in detail
with them. The information I provide is to
give people an idea of the laws, but not to
be the only source on them.
This subject is not over. Until youtube
provides me with the proper documentation, we
will not be 100% certain that Viacom did
this, but all signs to point to them. Youtube
still has yet to provide me with the
information I have requested.

| A question for Johnny Robertson (the Church of Christ guy) |

Johnny Robertson is one of the ministers from
the so-called "Church of Christ" in the
Reidsville NC/Martinsville VA area that has a
TV program on WGSR Star 39.
Every week it's the same thing: Robertson
goes on his show, spends much of it showing
videos of other pastors that he doesn't agree
with and sometimes videos of the debates he
always seems to be getting into. Then he
starts blasting EVERYONE who isn't "Church of
Christ" Christian like he and his cohorts.
Long story short: if you aren't a member of
their idea of the Church of Christ, you are
going to Hell.
I've been watching the show for awhile and
have wondered many times: "How do these guys
POSSIBLY glorify Christ and convince other
people of His love for them, with this kind
of attitude? Isn't God's grace enough? Why
all the legalism?"
So on March 23rd 2008, I called into
Robertson's "What Does The Bible Say?" show
and asked him about that.

| Confronting Johnny Robertson - Part 1 |

On the evening of June 1st, 2008, I
confronted Johnny Robertson of the
Martinsville Church of Christ with some
questions as he was going in to do his live
TV show at WGSR Star 39 in Reidsville, North
Carolina.
This followed an exchange over the previous
few days, during which Mr. Robertson
announced he was going to criticize me on his
show and he took some glee in implying that I
would not debate him.
So I showed up at the station, with my Bible
and video camera, and offered him the
opportunity to debate me live on the air,
that night. He turned me down.
I also asked him some questions...
1. How is what he is doing giving devotion
to Christ and showing the love of Christ to a
world without Him?
2. Could he point to a single verse of
scripture that proves that if someone is not
baptized, that he or she is going to Hell?
He could not answer these questions. But I
gave him the chance.

| "Civil Disobedience in Rockingham County, we will have!" |

At the April meeting of the Rockingham County
(NC) Board of Education, the board voted 8-4
to mandate Standard Mode Of Dress (school
uniforms) at Reidsville Middle and Reidsville
High schools starting in the 2007-2008 school
year. However, the vote was made on the basis
of a survey that was fraudulently conducted.
The board voted to impose the uniforms
anyway. There have been 3 meetings of the
board in which parents and students have made
it clear that they DO NOT WANT the uniforms.
The board is refusing to acknowledge this
opposition. In protest of this refusal to
recognize public sentiment against the
uniforms, I intend to wear a full Jedi Knight
costume to the meeting of the Rockingham
County Board of Education at 6 p.m. on July
9th, 2007. This video is a segment from Star
Talk on WGSR Star 39 in Reidsville, North
Carolina early in the evening of June 14th,
2007, in which host Mark Childrey interviewed
me (by phone) about my planned protest, and
during which an invitation was extended to
other opponents of S.M.O.D. to likewise come
in outrageous attire to protest both the
uniforms and the board's indifference toward

| Christopher Knight for School Board TV Commercial #2 |

This is the second TV commercial that I
produced for my campaign for Rockingham
County (North Carolina) Board of Education.
As with the others, it broadcast on WGSR Star
39 in the month leading up to the election in
November of 2006. This one began airing a
week and a half after the now-infamous "Star
Wars" commercial started playing. I did not
win a seat, however I received 4,648 votes
which let me place 8th out a field of 16
candidates (the biggest slate for a single
race in county history).

Charity Baptist Church in Greensboro, North
Carolina for letting me use his office to
film this :-)
