 |
Yogic Arts classes in Montreal, with
certified teacher Stephanie Golden (Level 1).
View Yogic Arts schedule at

Yogic Arts™, created by Master Duncan Wong,
integrates the core strength and joint
conditioning elements of Buddhist Gung-Fu
[healing martial arts], the fluidity and
purification of Ashtanga Vinyasa
[breath-motion yoga], and the healing touch
of traditional Thai Therapy [yoga massage].
The Yogic Arts™ system comprises sequences
of classical standing asanas [poses], infused
with martial arts, therapeutic kicking
drills, a core floor workout, deeply
therapeutic hip & shoulder opening &
wrist-therapy sequences, and a traditional
vinyasic finishing practice, which includes
elements of Thai massage and guided
meditation.
Music is integral to the Yogic Arts
experience. The healing and transformative
power of sound vibration is not lost on the
practitioner, neither is its ability to
create a joyful heart within oneself.

| ... shaktim ... sharing yogic science |
 |
i'm on a mission to share the bliss i have
received and receive from breathing !!! I'm
speaking from Cave 30 of the Ellora Caves,
Ellora, India and have just had an incredible
experience earlier in the day in Cave 14,
where I began to transform sound into atoms
of bliss popping in my head as the chimes
rang in the acoustically perfect Temple Cave.
having had an illness that crippled my very
will to breathe ... this last 7 years
studying with my yoga master, Mark Griffin of
The Hardlight Center of Awakening, has given
my life hope, peace, fulfillment and love.
yogic science does not require a religion. It
requires a belief in energy, maybe a little
in quantum physics, in
O X Y G E N being filled with energy that we
can harness through our bodies by 'breathing
with intention' ... loving ourselves through
our breathing...and for myself, personally,
loving God, yearning and drawing in the
energy of God through the breath, through the
Holy Spirit, if you are so inclined.
blessings to A L L who seek peace.
... yes, the world is ready to take a breath
and be filled with bliss ... Tags : www.hardlight.org Ganeshpuri Shaktim yogic science breathing peace world unity abundance dreams illusions How |

| Conscious breathing |
 |
Before starting the Asanas (as-anas) or the
yogic postures, it is vital that you start
with the practice of Pranayama
(praa-na-yaa-ma) or the yogic breathing
exercises.
And what is Yogic Breathing (Pranayama)
Pranayama is loosely translated as prana
(pra-aana) or breathe control. Breathing
affects our state of mind. It can make us
excited or calm, tense or relaxed. It can
make our thinking confused or clear. In the
ancient yogic tradition, air is the primary
source of life force, a
psycho-physio-spiritual force that permeates
the universe. Yogic breathing is used in yoga
as a separate practice to help clear and
cleanse the body and mind. It oxygenates the
lungs by getting rid of enormous quantity of
carbon dioxide and other toxic gases. It is
also used in preparation for asana, the
practice of yogic postures and meditation, to
help maximize the benefits of the practice,
and focus the mind.
