| Mega Man Live Action? Maybe one day.... |
 |
Unoffical video for band, "The Protomen",
created using scenes from the Japanese film
"Casshern".
My personal feelings are that the visual
style of the film could serve as a blue print
for a live action film based on Mega Man.
The dramatic and epic scale of the Protomen's
music seemed like a natural fit for this
experiment.
While most of the videos content represents a
single scene from the film, i made my best
effort to alter the action enough to reflect
the story and emotion of the song, while
still preserving a visual continuity and
logical progression.
The song "Vengeance", comes from the
Protomen's self titled debut album, an epic
rock opera based on the Mega Man character
created by Capcom. This is an unofficial
video and is in no way endorsed by the
Protomen or Capcom.

KNOWN BUGS
Jumping Piranha Plant: Mario can still get
hurt when he jumps and lands on a pipe
containing this enemy.
Some ? Blocks can be hit by running into the
side of them.
When a shell gets destroyed (by explosions or
fireballs) while Mario is holding it, he gets
stuck holding nothing, unable to pick up
anything or shoot projectiles.
If an enemy that can be picked up from below
(Shy Guy and Snifit from SMB2) is destroyed
while Mario is pulling, Mario will get stuck
in the pulling animation forever.
Some collision detection problems with the
walls remain, but it's nothing serious.
The preliminary world layout for the final
version (not the demo version!):
World 1: The Mushroom Kingdom (standard Mario
stuff)
World 2: Alternate Earth (Military War Zone
and other real-world locations)
World 3: Mega Man's World (Levels based on
those of the original Mega Man series)
World 4: The Demon Realm (Levels based on
DOOM, Castlevania, and Ghouls and Ghosts)
World 5: Ocean of Oblivion (Lair of the
Leviathan goes here, along with surreal
swimming levels)
World 6: SHMUPS Domain (Sky Pop and Marine
Pop-only levels. Expect levels based on
Gradius and R-Type)
World 7: Realm of Nintendo (Levels based on
and featuring Link, Samus, Kirby, Donkey
Kong, and more)
World 8: Sonic's World
World 9: Halo Ringworld (features Halo
characters and enemies)
World -1: Twisted Reality (comparable to
Kingdom Hearts II's World That Never Was) Tags : super mario fusion fangame homebrew video game maker mega man capcom crossover |
